Don and Ramon won the Magennis trophy for Sportsman of the Year for the fourth consecutive year at the Society awards held on Thurs 8 May. |

The Boat Club won the Jasper Trophy for Club of the Year at the Old Eds Society Sports Awards held on Thurs 8 May. It is the first time our club has won the award and this is testimony to the efforts of all those associated with the club ! |

| Wind blows A4- Cover chances at Wemmer |

A sudden lull in a day of favourable wind cost the Eds4- the opportunity of breaking the record and in so doing getting on the cover of the Wemmer Programme. They got within 2 secs of the 10yr record of 1m56s. With a bit of wind it would have gone!? |

Don and Ramon raced their first pairs race this season and averaged 1m30 splits to complete the 702m Wemmer Sprint course in 2m06sec. 2 seconds below the previous record. |
